11	Can understand short texts on subjects of personal interest written with simple words and supported by illustrations and pictures.	Reading	4.1 – I can review, revise and evaluate information presented in a range of digital media.	The teacher can use digital stories from thefablecottage.com. The stories can be projected on the IWB or the students can access them on their own devices either in class or at home. As a follow up activity the students can answer questions through a quiz on Microsoft Forms, Kahoot, Quizziz and/or Educaplay.
16	Can write one or more sentences/questions to interact in a communicative way using simple words and formulaic expressions.	Writing	2.1 – I can communicate through a variety of digital devices and applications.	The students use Microsoft Sway to create a presentation about themselves, about others, where they live and what they do. All teachers and students have access to Office 365 tools such as Sway. Office 365 tools can be accessed by logging on to www.ilearn.edu.mt and clicking on the App Launcher icon top left. Select Sway from the list of apps.
	Can give information in writing about matters of personal relevance using simple words and basic expressions.	Writing	4.6 – I can work creatively across a range of digital media and multiple systems to present information effectively to a given audience. Alternatively OneNote, Calmlywirter (https://www.calmlywriter.com/online/) or ClassNotebook can be used where multimedia material can be also added.
	Can understand short basic texts.	Listening	1.1 – I am able to identify and articulate my information needs.	Students can listen to online videos even through VR sets and then be able to answer some questions related to it.
	Can recognise concrete information on familiar topics encountered in everyday life, provided that it is delivered in slow and clear speech. The students use VOKI/IMMERSIVE READER/BALABOLKA to listen to basic information/short sentences about a familiar topic in the foreign language being read and pronounced by the avatar/software.
