On the 3rd and 4th of December 2022 IEEE Malta Association organised the FIRST INTERNATIONAL IEEE REGION 8 ROBOT CHAMPIONSHIP. IEEE Malta Association is a voluntary organisation that contributes to the advancement of humanity through technology.
One of the commitments was to have interactive sessions and to ensure that the event will be an educational one. To achieve this, a number of partners, including the Directorate for Digital Literacy and Transversal Skills within the Ministry for Education, Sports, Youth, Research and Innovation were invited to set up STEM activities and give them a taster of our efforts.
Children attended together with their families on the 3rd and 4th of December at Monstekristo Arena Malta.
Through play and games, children and their families can learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
