I cannot access Assignments on the mobile Teams App? (For Students)

“Sorry we can’t take you to this destination at this time” is an error that might crop up when students try to access assignments on a mobile or tablet. This usually happens when the the same mobile device is being used with more than one Teams account. For example the student has a sibling who also logs in to Teams on the same device.

You can try the following to fix the issue:

A. Sign Out and Sign In again. This can be done by tapping the three parallel lines on the left, select Settings and choose Sign Out.

B. Another solution is to try clearing MS team app cache and try again.

  1. Click the three parallel lines in top left of screen
  2. Click settings
  3. Click data and storage
  4. Click clear temporary files
  5. Click reset database

C. If it still fails, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the Teams app and ensure that it is up-to-date.
